Artist in Residency
Davu Gallery is pleased to announce its upcoming Artist in Residency Program 2025, which will take place at Davu Gallery, located in the heart of Kathmandu. This program offers a unique opportunity for artists to immerse themselves in Nepal's vibrant culture and create new work in a supportive environment.
The Artist in Residency program is open to artists of all disciplines, including visual artists, writers, musicians, performers, and more. Selected artists will be provided with studio space and private living accommodations for the duration of the residency.
During their residency, artists will have the chance to interact with the local community, participate in cultural events and festivals, and explore the natural beauty of the Kathmandu Valley. This program is designed to provide artists with a truly immersive experience, enabling them to engage with Nepal’s rich cultural heritage and create work inspired by their surroundings.
At the end of the residency, there will be a public exhibition or presentation of the artists' work, offering a platform to showcase their creations and share their experiences with a wider audience.
Davu Gallery is committed to supporting both emerging and established artists from Nepal and around the world. The Artist in Residency program is one of the many ways in which Davu Gallery fosters artistic expression and cultural exchange. We look forward to welcoming a diverse group of artists to our residency program and showcasing their work to the world.
